In 1999 two friends from college who knew absolutely nothing about opening a restaurant, did exactly that. For 25 years now, Blue Plate has organically grown into an iconic staple of the Outer Mission neighborhood where it was founded.Blue Plate serves American fare with a Mediterranean twist, using the best Northern California produce and local farms.

    Private Garden Party Reservation

    Throw a garden party for 13-25 of your friends/family! Available for half evening:5 pm - 7:30 pm, (perfect for pre-gaming the magic show at The Magic Patio next door); or 7:30-10 pm (birthdays, receptions, graduations, celebrations!) Half-evening is $60 per person food and beverage minimum, $780.00 minimum.Full evening garden rental available for $80 per person, $1500 minimum.The deposit taken to hold this reservation will be applied to your final bill at the end of your event. Your deposit will be considered non-refundable if cancellation is made less than 72 hours (3 days) before your event.
