    Our Private Dining Room is ideal for intimate gatherings, celebrations and business dinners. The Journey Menu is designed for guests who are interested in fully immersing themselves in our cuisine and service. This is a three-hour dining experience available for 5-8 guests and is priced at $325 per person (excluding tax & fees).A 20% administrative fee will be applied to all purchases. The Administrative Fee is not gratuity, however, it allows the restaurant to pay all the employees fairly and is used to offset operational costs. No additional gratuity is required.

    Before ringing in 2025, join us at our Chef’s Table for a special early evening dinner - a two-hour experience designed for guests who’d like to begin their celebrations at Birdsong, then leave you with plenty of time to make it to your next party or be home in time to watch the ball drop.The menu will highlight Birdsong classics, with a touch of extravagance befitting the occasion.     Chef Darren MacLean Collaboration Dinner in the Dining Room

    For two nights, on October 17th & 18th, Birdsong will be hosting acclaimed Chef Darren MacLean of Shokunin, Nupo, and Eight in Canada. Besides the many accolades earned by his restaurants in the 50 and 100 Best Restaurants Lists, Chef Darren was the sole Canadian participant in Netflix’s The Final Table. This collaboration dinner will see Chef Darren’s skill with yakitori techniques in concert with Chef Chris’s dedication to using the whole animal and cooking with fire. Their complementary skills and philosophies are reflected in a yakitori-inspired tasting menu utilizing some of the Bay Area’s best produce, with some unexpected additions. Our Dining Room has an open layout and guests can enjoy watching our chefs cooking from all tables. Due to the uniqueness of the experience and complexity of the menu, we must kindly decline all requests for substitutions or modifications to the menu for allergies, dietary restrictions, or preferences.     Japanese Sake Pairing Nights at Birdsong - Friday, October 25th

    For two evenings only, on October 24th & 25th, we have curated a beverage pairing centered around Japanese sake that will accompany Chef Chris' heritage cuisine tasting menu. Through close collaboration with JFOODO (the Japan Food Products Overseas Promotion Center) and Eduardo Dingler (certified sake sommelier and a professional sake, wine, and spirits judge), our Beverage Director, Alex Silverman, has created a careful selection that highlights the versatility of Japanese sake. The dinner will allow guests to engage with the complex and storied beverage in a deeply experiential way, guided by the expertise of Alex and Eduardo. The menu and pairing will be preceded by a personalized presentation at each table by Eduardo which will allow guests at all levels of knowledge the capacity to truly appreciate the flavor, history, craft, and beauty of sake.Guests will be seated at either our Chef's Table or in the Dining Room, depending on party size and reservation time.Due to the uniqueness of the experience and complexity of the menu, we must kindly decline all requests for substitutions or modifications to the menu for allergies, dietary restrictions, or preferences.
